TSpringtime walk: "Spring lets her blue ribbon flutter in the breeze again."
This circular poetry walk through the Urdenbacher Kämpe nature reserve and along the River Rhine covers a distance of approx. 4.3 kilometres. Poems, pictures, and stories open inspirational windows onto the spring landscape. Works by well-known painters and poets echo the natural landscape we see before us. Not only will the walk stimulate the senses to guarantee a relaxing break, but participants will also learn some surprising facts about a valuable natural landscape.
Summer walk: "Dimly falls the summer evening over woodlands and green meadows."

Itinerary: The walk includes stops providing an opportunity to explore meadows, willows, poplars, pollard willows, historical links between Zons and Baumberg, and meadow orchards.

Please be sure to wear stout shoes and bring waterproof clothing. You may also want to bring food, drink, and a camera.

Distance: 4.3 kilometres

Duration: ca. 3 hours

Starting point: Your guide will welcome you at the car park on the corner of Baumberger Weg/Drängenburger Straße on the southern edge of Düsseldorf-Urdenbach. Coming from Düsseldorf-Benrath or Monheim-Baumberg you can get to the nearby Mühlenplatz bus stop by taking bus no. 788.

Costs: 7 € for adults

Number of participants: 15 max.

The walk can be booked for weekends, weekday mornings, and during school holidays.
