Growing up in Romania my world was the village with its family-like atmosphere and meadow orchards and the wide open spaces around it. The village and wetlands of Urdenbach have given me a new home where the warm-heartedness I knew in childhood is part of the tradition and where people care about preserving a landscape shaped by centuries of human cultivation.

Join me on one of my guided walks and experience culture and nature in the village and the meadow orchards. For me, the village and wetlands belong together as much as a house and garden.
